Exchange services with a time currency

FREN

Omy-Time lets people share skills and receive time credits for a service. Those credits can then be used to benefit from another member’s help. Value circulates within a community through shared time.

How does a time currency work?

Offer a skill or respond to a request. Participants agree on the service, its amount and how it will be delivered. Payment uses time credits in the currency shown on the listing. One unit of OMY represents one minute.

From first contact to a completed service

Explore listings available in your communities or territories. Discuss the service in private messaging before committing, then track it in My exchanges. Delivery confirmation and reviews make members’ experience visible.

Everyday skills deserve recognition

Digital support, sharing knowledge, administrative help, gardening, creative activities and social connection can all be valuable. Profiles describe declared skills; completed services and feedback from partners help build trust.

Private communities and local territories

An organisation brings members together in private groups. Territories enable local exchange in areas opened by the Omy-Time team. Addresses and contact permissions determine which areas and people are accessible.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to exchange directly with the same person?

No. Credits earned from a service can be used with another member, within the same currency and subject to the relevant access permissions.

Are time credits a cryptocurrency to buy?

The service is based on services and time credits. OMY is not convertible into OMY Meme; separate time currencies are not automatically converted.

Can I offer a remote service?

Yes. A listing can offer an in-person service, a remote service or both. Community and territory access rules still apply.
