Terms of use
Version dated 27 October 2026
Purpose
Omy-Time supports mutual help and recognition of skills through service listings, private organisation communities, open territories, messaging and exchange records. Territories are opened by a decision of the Omy-Time team.
Account and security
Each person uses a personal account and provides accurate information. Keep your password private and do not use another person’s account. Email verification proves access to a mailbox; it does not certify civil identity or skills. Organisation and group roles grant only their stated permissions.
Communities and territories
Private group content is restricted to authorised people. Territory access follows saved addresses and open areas. Members choose whether to publish a listing publicly; private content is never published automatically. Blocks and contact preferences continue to apply.
Outside-group contact requests
New accounts accept outside-group requests from members in their registration country by default. You can restrict this to cities or disable it in My profile, under My preferences. Territories must be open and contact details remain private.
Services and conduct
Listings must be accurate, authorised and respect the law and third-party rights. Members are responsible for their proposed services and agreed delivery conditions. Unlawful, misleading, discriminatory or harmful content can be reported. Authorised people handle moderation and access restrictions.
Time credits
Credits record service exchanges. They cannot be converted to euros or OMY Meme. An organisation may have its own time currency with separate wallets. There is no implicit conversion between currencies. The local version uses test credits.
Privacy and notifications
Exact addresses and contact details are private by default. Voluntary sharing can be withdrawn for future access. Optional emails start off and their preferences can be changed. Essential emails for requested actions remain separate. The privacy policy complements these terms.
Closure and disputes
A deletion request immediately hides the profile and listings from communities and territories. The team then reviews organisation responsibilities, balances, ongoing exchanges and data to erase or retain. Closure does not automatically erase records needed for a dispute or legal duty. Exchange disputes can be reported within the application.
Role and responsibility
Omy-Time provides a service for connecting members and organising exchanges. Omy-Time is not a party to agreements between members and does not guarantee the quality, performance or outcome of the services offered.
Limitation of liability
Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, Omy-Time is not liable for indirect damage arising from use of the service.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties will seek an amicable solution before starting legal proceedings.
Changes and complaints
Availability and features may change; the local environment is not a public service with a guaranteed service level. Send complaints to hello@omy-time.com. Mandatory user rights remain applicable. The version of the terms accepted at registration is archived and dated; account creation does not trigger payment.
